Purpose (Definition) of the Job: To carry out all types of collections related to patient services within the scope of the legislation by working with a team spirit based on solidarity and ethical principles.
Authorities
In carrying out the defined duties, authorities, and professional responsibilities, they are obliged to execute the tasks assigned by their higher-level supervisors in accordance with existing laws, regulations, and current legislation. While performing their duties, they must comply with the ethical behavioral principles specified in the regulation regarding the ethical behavioral principles of public officials and application procedures and principles.
Basic Duties and Responsibilities
Issuing a collection receipt based on the referral documents brought by uninsured individuals upon their application and providing this receipt to the person.
Separately issuing receipts for and collecting the fees for examinations requested by the physician as a result of the consultation (blood tests, ultrasound, tomography) and other examination fees. Providing a copy of the collected receipts to the relevant person.
Canceling the receipt via the system for a patient who paid the examination fee but went to the wrong clinic, provided that the physician writes "has not been examined" or "incorrect referral" on the back of the collection receipt, and the patient writes their name and surname in their own handwriting and signs it.
Preparing an accounting summary for all collections made at the end of the day.
Issuing an accounting transaction slip to ensure the accounting of the obtained accounting summary over the system.
Depositing the total amounts of the accounting summary to the bank IBAN number every day by arranging a bank delivery warrant, obtaining three bank receipts, and attaching these receipts to the daily accounting summary and accounting transaction slip.
At the weekend, generating a day-by-day breakdown of the collection receipts issued throughout the week.
Delivering them to the accounting office with a cover letter against a signature (via handover protocol).
To refund payments made by mistake to patients, generating the relevant receipt and submitting it to the accounting unit with a stamp and signature.
Fulfilling other similar duties and authorities assigned by the Chief Physician and the Hospital Manager.
Implementing and ensuring the implementation of the policies, procedures, processes, and plans determined by the institution within their unit.
Taking a role in carrying out activities within the scope of Health Quality Standards, efficiency, and patient and employee safety practices.
Reporting any near-miss or actual adverse events related to the safety of patients and employees via the Adverse Event Reporting System over the HBIS (Hospital Information Management System).

Procedure to Follow in Case of Conflict in the Distribution of Duties
In the event of a conflict in the distribution of duties, a meeting is held with the Unit Supervisor / Deputy Manager of Administrative and Financial Affairs. If the issue cannot be resolved, it is discussed with the Manager of Administrative and Financial Affairs.
