In our hospital, a special PCOS Outpatient Clinic has opened to provide comprehensive evaluation and regular follow-up for our patients who have been definitively diagnosed with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). This hormonal syndrome, which is common in women, can lead to a wide variety of health issues such as menstrual irregularity, weight gain, insulin resistance, increased hair growth, acne, and pregnancy difficulties. Our new outpatient clinic aims to provide the highest level of service to effectively treat these health problems and support our patients with a holistic approach.
In our outpatient clinic, the diagnosis, treatment, and clinical visit processes of our patients are handled with a completely multidisciplinary approach. The evaluation and follow-up of our patients are carried out jointly by a fully equipped team that includes specialists in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases, and Dermatology and Venereology, as well as dietitians, physiotherapists, and psychologists. Patients with a ed diagnosis of PCOS are referred directly to this special clinic by our physicians in the relevant branches, and appointments for physician visits can be easily scheduled via MHRS (Central Physician Appointment System).
The main goal of our hospital is not only to provide medical treatment but also to improve the quality of life of our patients through current approaches and to provide them with the necessary health education on coping with this syndrome. This newly opened outpatient clinic represents one of the strongest steps of a multidisciplinary approach and conscious patient follow-up to protect and improve women's health. We stand by our patients for a healthy tomorrow with all our medical equipment and competent staff.
