The opening ceremony of our Radionuclide Therapy Center was held with the participation of our Chief Physician Prof. Dr. Orhan Gökalp, hospital administrators, physicians from related specialties, and unit staff.
During his speech, Prof. Dr. Orhan Gökalp stated:
“The commissioning of our Radionuclide Therapy Center is a significant achievement for İzmir and our region. With our modern infrastructure and expert team, we will provide advanced diagnostic and treatment opportunities for our patients, particularly in the field of oncology. I would like to thank all our colleagues from the related departments and everyone who contributed to the establishment of this center.”
In this center, cancer cells can be targeted and treated using radioactive materials, and thyroid diseases as well as certain specific disorders can be effectively managed. Thus, our patients will have access to safer, more effective, and faster treatment opportunities.
Equipped with advanced technology and staffed by specialized professionals, our Radionuclide Therapy Center will serve not only İzmir but the entire region, becoming a key reference point in cancer treatment and contributing significantly to the healthcare services of our area.
