The first and only Cytopathology Subspecialty Training Clinic under the Ministry of Health in Türkiye has been established at İzmir City Hospital.
Our clinic is now ready to provide subspecialty training in the field of Cytopathology for Medical Pathology specialists. In our laboratory, all advanced techniques — including liquid-based cytology — are utilized. The clinic operates in full integration with the Pathology Laboratory in immunohistochemistry, molecular, and digital processes. As an authorized training clinic, our department continues its services with advanced technical infrastructure, aiming to contribute to the education of Medical Pathology specialists devoted to the field of Cytopathology and to add value to the healthcare system.
